Deepika, reportedly in her second trimester, is expected to deliver in September 2024, marking a new chapter in their marital journey that began in 2018.

The pregnancy revelation came through a heartwarming post shared by the couple, featuring the caption “September 2024” alongside charming motifs of baby clothes, shoes, and balloons.

Prior to the official announcement, speculations about Deepika’s pregnancy arose, sparked by observations that she might have discreetly concealed her baby bump during the 77th British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA), where she dazzled in a couture saree and custom jewelry crafted by Sabyasachi Mukherjee.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s love story blossomed on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela.’ After five years of courtship, they exchanged vows in November 2018.

Expressing their excitement about parenthood, Deepika shared with Vogue, “Absolutely. Ranveer and I love children. We look forward to the day when we will start our own family.”

Emphasizing the importance of grounded values, she remarked, “In this industry, it’s easy to get carried away by fame and money. But no one treats me like a celebrity at home. I am a daughter and a sister first. I don’t want that to change. My family keeps me grounded, and Ranveer and I hope to inculcate the same values in our children.”
