Angelina Jolie calls Hollywood “shallow” and admits to “losing the ability to live” after divorcing Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie is the cover face of the latest issue of WSJ magazine. In it, the actress opened up about her private life at the present time as well as after her divorce from Brad Pitt.

Specifically, Angelina Jolie surprised when she admitted that she had no social life in Hollywood and that her six children were her only friends. This closure caused the star Maleficent to collapse after her divorce.


“That’s part of what happened after my divorce. I lost the ability to live and wanted to move freely.I will go when I can,” Angelina Jolie confided and mentioned her desire to return to Cambodia.

Also in the interview, Angelina Jolie called Hollywood a shallow place and affirmed that she had never taken this place too seriously.

“Hollywood is not a healthy place. Because I grew up in a shallow environment, I always sought authenticity. I was never impressed with it,” the actress said, “I probably won’t becoming an actor today. When I started my career, I didn’t think everything would be so public and shared.”
