Patrick Mahomes’ Super Bowl appearances

In the midst of the Kansas City Chiefs’ fourth Super Bowl appearance in six seasons, Patrick Mahomes stands at the helm, steering the team with finesse and precision.

Since his selection as the No. 10 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, Mahomes has thrived in Andy Reid’s offense, accumulating impressive stats-28,140 passing yards, 219 passing touchdowns, and 62 interceptions-in his six seasons as the Chiefs’ starter.

The Chiefs, now the third team to play in four Super Bowls over a five-year span, are on the brink of joining elite company with a potential victory in Super Bowl LVIII.

Mahomes, a two-time league and Super Bowl MVP, is poised to become one of the few quarterbacks with four Super Bowl starts, a feat achieved only by Pro Football Hall of Famers.

Should the Chiefs secure victory in Super Bowl LVIII, Patrick Mahomes will join an exclusive club of starting quarterbacks with three Super Bowl rings, placing him alongside legends like Tom Brady, Joe Montana, Terry Bradshaw, and Troy Aikman.

How old was Patrick Mahomes when he won his first Super Bowl?

At just 24 years old, Patrick Mahomes achieved a historic milestone by leading the Kansas City Chiefs to victory in Super Bowl LIV.

Facing the San Francisco 49ers, Mahomes orchestrated a comeback, scoring 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to secure the Chiefs’ first title in fifty years.

Mahomes completed 26 out of 42 passes for 286 yards, including two touchdowns and two interceptions.

His dynamic play also featured a crucial rushing touchdown, earning him the Super Bowl MVP and solidifying his status as the second-youngest quarterback to win the coveted title in NFL history.

Last season, in 2023, Mahomes added another ring to his collection in Super Bowl LVII against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Overcoming a halftime deficit, Mahomes showcased his prowess with 21 out of 27 passes completed for 187 yards and three touchdowns.

The Chiefs’ victory included strategic trick plays, highlighting Mahomes’ adaptability and leadership on the grandest stage.
