Michael Jordan hasn’t played in the NBA for over two decades.

However, according to most NBA players on yearly polls, he’s still considered to be the greatest player of all time.

Multiple players have attempted to challenge that status, yet Jordan’s name still stands tall among some of the most impressive marks in NBA history.

As pointed out by StatMuse on Twitter, that includes the record for the most points in a single playoff run (759 in 1991).

LeBron James (748 in 2018), Kawhi Leonard (732 in 2019), and Hakeem Olajuwon (725 in 1995) round out the top four.

Notably, the fact that Jordan did that while playing one fewer game in the first round only makes this even more impressive.

The Bulls went 3-0, 4-3, 4-2, and 4-2 en route to that championship, so he could’ve even played more games and scored more points.

Jordan averaged a whopping 34.5 points per game in the playoffs that season, cementing himself as the greatest player in the league.

The Bulls went on to win their third consecutive title before Jordan shockingly announced his decision to retire from the game, pursuing a career in baseball.

Jordan’s heroic comeback was even more impressive, as he picked up things right where he left off by winning three rings in a row again.

That’s why there will only be one Michael Jeffrey Jordan.
