Lolly believes she’s finally found her match in Konnor, as the girls recoupled in the Love Island villa this Friday. But one boy had a huge announcement to make.
Two couples made their relationships official on Love Island as Lolly Hart kicked off another recoupling this Friday.
Flight attendant Lolly made a sneaky entrance into the villa by hosting three secret dates in The Hideaway with Joey Essex, Ciaran Davies and Konnor Ewudzi.
The bombshell was then given the time to consider her options, while viewers believe they’ve rumbled her real game plan.
This Friday, July 12, Lolly finally decided who she’d be spending her summer with as Mimii Ngulube warned fellow islanders another recoupling would take place in the evening.
Sparks were flying between Mathilda and Sean as they were the first couple to make things official on this Friday’s episode of Love Island
Lolly picked singleton Konnor after their successful first date, while Grace Jackson finally moved on from Joey Essex as she decided to give Reuben a chance. But a bombshell came when Ciaran interrupted the recoupling to make a huge announcement in Nicole Samuel’s honour.
The moment came after Sean Stone and Matilda Draper enjoyed their first date around paella and drinks at a remote location, where the sweets salesman asked his other half to make things exclusive. Ciaran said: “Actually everyone, one minute, that speech was perfect, it’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while and it’s a madness doing it in front of everyone, I thought it was just going to be me and you but I can’t wait any longer.”
“Everything you’ve said is exactly how I feel and I don’t want to wait to start the new chapter outside the Villa, I want to start it now.” And an emotional Nicole agreed to take things to the next level. Lolly formally introduced herself to the rest of the villa this Friday and encountered a grilling from the girls, particularly as her decision to pick Ciaran for a date was deemed controversial. “I just wanted to see what his vibe in the whole villa was”, she reassured Nicole, adding that she had been single for five years.
The recoupling follows tense moments during which Josh Oyinsan tried to probe Mimii for answers over her relationship with Ayo. Heartbroken after Ayo dismissed her, Mimii decided to move on and an opportunity arose when Josh landed on Love Island.
Unfortunately, as viewers have suggested on social media, Ayo is struggling to let Mimii go and has recently expressed frustration over her budding connection with Josh. This Friday, Josh was frustrated as the pair shared another conversation about their relationship and viewers were sent into an angry frenzy when they leaned in for a hug.
Later on, Josh decided to nip it in the bud by questioning Ayo over his intentions with Mimii and things appeared to be settled when Ayo confirmed he would be focusing on his connection with Jess S. Unfortunately, matters weren’t as settled for Jessica, who was the last one to know about Mimii and Ayo’s conversation. But despite the discord, Jessica still stood by Ayo’s side as she chose him during the recoupling. Could she come to regret it?
