Love Island has been thrown into chaos after one star sensationally quit the villa following the unexpected dumping of their partner
A Love Island star has quit the villa after their partner is dumped.
It’s been reported the villa resident decided to walk away from the ITV2 show following a shock eviction. The exit has yet to air on TV, according to reports, but follows Trey Norman and Ellie Jackson leaving the villa after a tense Movie Night.
“The villa is so full that people are sleeping on the day beds. So producers decided it was a good idea to trim the fat and called another dumping soon after Movie Night,” a source told The Sun.
“What they were not expecting was the partner of the individual axed wanting to leave. That rarely ever happens. And the person was one of the most popular in the villa.
“There are also more bombshells on the way that they could have had a better connection with.” The Mirror has contacted ITV for comment on the reports.
Meanwhile, Trey and Ellie have spoken out on their exit after being brutally dumped from the villa following an explosive Movie Night. Reflecting on his connection with Ellie, Trey said: “Ellie and I hit it off from the start, that initial chemistry and attraction.
“I love how she lives a similar corporate life to me. There was that, coupled with the sexual chemistry, we were inseparable. No dates arranged yet, but I’m sure we’ll talk and get something organised.”
Ellie agreed and added: “Pretty much from the start we warmed to each other. He was the person that made me feel the most comfortable, so naturally I gave him more attention than anyone else.
“We definitely had a good connection so we’ll have to see what happens. We’re going to go with the flow and not put any pressure on anything. Watch this space!”
Ellie already had a connection with Islander Ciaran and admitted it was “risky” entering the villa due to their past. She continued: “Ciaran and I had a connection on the outside, I always knew it was risky going in with our history. Seeing how he was with Nicole solidified the fact that there wasn’t going to be anything between us, so it was really just Trey from that moment on and no one else.”
Speaking about sharing the villa with Ciaran, she added: “It was weird! It’s the weirdest feeling to describe because we both fancied each other on the outside and there was some form of connection, but as soon as it got shut down in there we did actually have a little bit of a friendship. It was definitely nice having him in there, even if it wasn’t as romantic connection just as a friendship.”
