A marketing group has estimated the brand value of Taylor Swift’s relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and it’s a pretty penny.
The estimated brand value that Swift has generated for the Chiefs and NFL is $331 million, according to Apex Marketing Group.
The recent estimate spans the first time she was seen cheering him on at Arrowhead Stadium in September through Jan. 22.
Radio, TV and social media exposures were tracked. Hits include any mention or photo of Swift tied to the NFL or the Chiefs.
Examples include a photo of her at the game wearing a Chiefs jersey or a mention of the Chiefs with her in a news article.
The media exposure has led to increased viewership for certain NFL games and many Swifties are buying sports jerseys for the first time.
The Chiefs are heading to the Super Bowl next month.
Could their equivalent brand value reach $1 billion by the time the big game is over?
Apex says while it is an aggressive number, it all depends on what happens during the game.
There is no word yet on if Swift will be at the Super Bowl. She kicks off the international leg of her Eras Tour on Feb. 7 in Tokyo.
