Metallica will mark this year’s 30th anniversary of its monumental “Black Album” with two special releases, both due out on September 10 via Blackened Recordings.The first release is the “definite re-release,” the remastered version of the album available in multiple configurations.
The second release is a tribute record titled “The Metallica Blacklist,” featuring over 50 various artists covering their favorite tunes from the record.
As part of the announcement, Miley Cyrus has unveiled her contribution to the “Blacklist” record – a cover of “Nothing Else Matters,” also featuring Elton John, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, and Metallica’s own Rob Trujillo.
