Classic snare work by Lars.
Metallica’s return to albums is almost here, with the band’s upcoming record “72 Seasons” dropping next month, 7 years after their last offering “Hardwired… to Self-Destruct”.
Committed to showcasing all the eras of the metal legends’ career, “72 Seasons” has had 3 singles out so far, with the latest “If Darkness Had a Son” dropping earlier this month.
While none of the songs shared until now gathered consensus from Metallica’s fans,
“If Darkness Had a Son” proved to be the most divisive so far, with many fans citing it as “uninspired” and “aimless”.
As usual, one of the biggest targets of criticism was Lars Ulrich’s drumming, whose skills have been closely scrutinized with each new release.
Now, YouTube channel Isolated Tracks has released the isolated tracks for each instrument on the band’s latest single, with the drums getting special attention from Metallica fans.
