Earlier today, Metallica dropped the 4th and most recent single from their upcoming album “72 Seasons”, with the release of the title-track and accompanying music video.Since the first single, “Lux Aeterna”, dropped in November 2022, each band member’s performance has been closely scrutinized by fans, especially Lars Ulrich.
The drummer’s performance in each track has earned a polarized reaction by Metallica’s fanbase, with some praising his chops as a return to form, while others called his playing too polished and hinted at the use of sample replacements for his tracks.
Now, with the release of a new song that is a blend of Metallica’s thrash roots and groovier days, the isolated track from Lars’ drum performance has emerged online for fans to evaluate.
