Brittany Williams and Josh Allen broke up in the spring of 2023 after a very long relationship.

It happened so suddenly.

Even though she isn’t dating the NFL quarterback anymore, Josh Allen’s ex Brittany Williams is still in the limelight.

Just recently, she finally broke her silence on the breakup.

During an appearance on the “Martinis and Bikinis” podcast, Williams had a lot to say as she navigates her life from dating an NFL quarterback to the single life for the first time in a long time.

Amid this interview, she never once mentioned Josh Allen’s name.

Host Veronica Droulia asked “how do you feel transitioning from that into dating now?” to which Williams said, “That is the question of the century.”

When the host mentioned that the exes “were together for a really long time,” Williams explained she was going through a “difficult” time

“We were together for a long time. I was with my ex-boyfriend for 10 years,” Williams said. “I would say that coming into the dating world was very, very, very difficult for me at first because I never thought I would be here again. But here I am – I am very happy now. The dating life in New York is absolutely crazy but it’s so much fun. It was so entertaining.

“It makes you realize everything that you want and it makes you not settle for anything other than that. For me, it’s been the most fun and exciting experience. I’ve learned so much about myself. I’ve learned what I like and what I don’t like and I’m not going to entertain anything other than someone that I think is actually meant for me.”

Williams and Allen went public with their relationship in 2017 but had known each other since they were single-digit ages as they grew up in Fresno, California.

“At first I was just saying yes to whatever I could at first, but I think after a while you’re like dating isn’t always fun and games,” she said. “I had to take a step back and be like, I need to grow and learn on my own and figure out what it is that makes me happy and once you do that then people just start flocking to you because they can feel the confidence, and that just radiates through friendships and family and attracts the right people to you.”

Just one month after a vacation, breakup rumors surfaced after Williams appeared to remove any trace of their relationship on Instagram.

Allen has since begun a world-wind relationship with actress/singer Hailee Steinfeld. They were spotted together in May 2023, so he wasted little time moving on.
