Fans thought the clip was awkward
Kelly introduced the segment by complimenting Ego’s dress.
She then proceeded to ask whether Ego and Kevin had ever met before.
Ego extended her hand and admitted that they haven’t.
Kevin responded saying they hadn’t met and ignored Ego’s hand which was given to him.
Ego was about to say something, but Kelly cut her off and started talking.
“And she’s still holding out her hand, which is the best part,” interrupted Kelly.
Ego looked awkward as the audience laughed at the exchange.
Kevin shook her hand and said: “Sorry, I thought you were just gesturing.”
Ego then joked that she could’ve played it off, if Kelly hadn’t mentioned it.
AGAIN?
Both Ego and Kevin then told a story about their mutual friend named Jenna, who is close to Kevin’s daughter.
Kelly then interrupted the conversation to say: “Good old Jenna.
“I know Jenna. I don’t know Jenna.”
She then went on to joke: “I could know Jenna. We’ll bring Jenna on.”
Fans flooded the comments with irritated remarks as they noticed Kelly kept interrupting her guests live.
Someone said: “She does this ALL THE TIME!!!! I’m not the only one who thinks this! She reverts every story back to her, or her experiences!!! It’s getting annoying!”
Another agreed: “I love Kelly but she’s always reverting everything back to her!! Let these ppl have their moment!!!”
“That’s what I’m saying too. I love her, but let your guests have their story without u saying anything about yours,” added a user.
SPEAKING OUT
Kelly recently spoke out about negative comments she received on her show.
She sat down with Olivia Rodrigo to share showbiz stories.
Kelly claimed that certain bad comments led to her first tattoo, which is of the initials D.C. on her finger.
“I do it because I like the reminder that I made it,” the TV star explained. “And sometimes things seem so big in your world at that moment, and you feel like you’re not gonna make it. And then you do, and so, that’s usually when I get the tattoo.”
Kelly went on to explain that people’s supposedly mean and vicious comments about her career drove her to get the tattoo.
“I was so tired of sitting in a room where men made me feel like s**t, and then I was like, you know what?” the Breakaway singer said.
“No, I actually had the guts to finally say…’You know what? Actually, I think this is about you.’ And I just totally said everything I’ve ever wanted to say in that moment. So that’s one of my favorite tattoos,” Kelly concluded.
