Gordon Ramsay reveals the Aussie restaurant that kicked him out – and the ‘amazing’ Melbourne eatery he can’t get enough of
Gordon Ramsay has revealed which Aussie restaurant kicked him out while he was filming the first Australian season of Food Stars earlier this year.
The British chef, 57, told The Sydney Morning Herald, he was asked to leave Serai in Melbourne because other diners were waiting for the table.
‘I f***ing loved that I got the order to move on,’ he said.
‘They needed the table back, and rightly so. It didn’t matter that I was f***ing Gordon Ramsay. They said the meal was on them, and I wasn’t having that either.’
‘I told them I wanted the bill and was adamant about it, and I didn’t leave until I got it and paid. It’s incredible food, and we had the best time,’ he added.
