TODAY show host Carson Daly has delivered a shady live TV warning to Kelly Clarkson, predicting that she won’t remain single for long.
The morning show delved into Kelly’s thriving personal life after her nasty divorce from Brandon Blackstock.
Carson Daly doubted that Kelly Clarkson would stay single while on the Today show
‘Be careful!’ he said: ‘When you’re not looking for love, that’s when it happens’
Carson, who previously hosted The Voice alongside Clarkson, dished out details from Kelly’s recent People tell-all.
He read an excerpt out loud during the recent Today episode, celebrating her “current love life.”
Onscreen, the highlighted quote: “Dating sucks,” drew laughs from the Today team.
The People excerpt continued: “It’s so awkward. I was single until I was, like, 30, and I forgot how really good at that I am.
“I love my kids. I have my family and friends, I have my jobs. I have so much on my plate, and it’s all these beautiful things that are working really well.”
“I’m really happy right now, I’m having a good time.”
Hoda Kotb couldn’t help but gush about Kelly’s newfound happiness, stating: “Can I just say, Kelly Clarkson is finding her moment?
“I’ve never seen her happier. She’s right across from us at 30 Rock; she’s doing her talk show, singing, she’s in Vegas. Her kids are at school here.”
However, Carson injected a dose of reality with a tongue-in-cheek remark.
“Although, be careful,” he said.
“Sometimes when you’re not looking for love, you’ve fully embraced solitude and conditioned yourself for that way of life…
That’s when it happens!”
His co-hosts laughed and gently agreed that Kelly could be caught off guard by a new flame, although she is working “14 jobs.”
Kelly, 41, is forging a new path in her life alongside her two children, daughter River Rose, 9, and son Remington Alexander, 7, whom she shares with ex-husband Brandon, 47.
She’s proudly flaunted an astounding 0 lb weight loss journey and appears more confident and happier than ever.
All this in light of her ex and former manager’s reported comment that she wasn’t “s*xy enough” for The Voice.
She is not currently known to be dating anyone after her nasty divorce in 2022.
COSTLY SPLIT
Kelly and Brandon were married for seven years before a bitter divorce in 2022.
Over a decade after she won American Idol in 2002, she tied the knot with the talent manager.
While the pair appeared to be inseparable, Kelly shocked fans when she filed for divorce in June 2020.
At the time, she said they separated due to “irreconcilable differences” and later admitted on her talk show that she “didn’t see” it coming.
“2020 has been a dumpster fire,” Kelly said during her show’s season premiere.
“2020 has brought a lot of change also to my personal life. Definitely didn’t see anything coming that came.
“But what I’m dealing with is hard because it involves more than just my heart. It involves a lot of little hearts.”
“You know, we have four kids and divorce is never easy, and we’re both from divorced families, so we know the best thing here is to protect our children and their little hearts.”
The nasty split which claims he “de-frauded” her as manager, is understood to have inspired her latest 14-song album Chemistry.
Their divorce was settled in March 2022, and she was ordered to pay Blackstock just over $1.3million along with $4,601 per month in child support, according to court documents obtained by The Blast.
