In toe-curling scenes, Arabella, 32, visibly turned away when Wes, 25, joined Craig David to perform for the Islanders.
The two Love Island stars previously dated for nine-months after their stints on the show, but split in 2020.
Arabella admitted that seeing Wes was a shock, but added: ‘I would much prefer him performing and leaving, than him being a bombshell. That’s the silver lining.’
While Wes addressed the group of Islanders and said: ‘You wasn’t expecting that! I loved it’ as Craig said the moment was ‘wholesome’.

The Sun reports that after the performance, Wes and Arabella didn’t speak to or acknowledge each other.
Production whisked both Wes and Craig straight out of the villa as soon as they had finished, as is normal procedure for celebrity guests.
A source told the publication: ‘Artists don’t tend to engage with the islanders other than pleasantries before and after their sets’.
Viewers also clocked Arabella’s reaction when Wes entered the stage, with others stunned to see the star’s music success, nearly six years after his villa stint.
One tweeted: ‘Is Arabella not embarrassed ur ex is performing with Craig David and you’re back in the love island villa.’
Another posted: ‘WE GET IT ARABELLA YOUR EX CAME IN,’ while a third added: ‘Wes not even acknowledging Arabella looooool.’
Arabella and Wes first sparked romance rumours in July 2019, when Wes was 21 and Arabella was 28.
They confirmed their relationship the following month and then jetted off on a string of romantic holidays together, including to the Maldives and Ibiza.

After a whirlwind romance, they moved in together just three months later and isolated together during the pandemic.
Speaking about their relationship at the time, Arabella gushed: ‘So many people just rush ahead, but it is nice to enjoy the moment rather than thinking what is next.
‘From day one we made it a normal relationship. In this industry it is so easy to do things differently because you feel like you should but you don’t have to.’
The pair also shared loved-up posts on Instagram, with Arabella writing on Wes’ birthday: ‘You deserve a medal @wes.nelson. You really do get me and I love you.’
However, in April 2020 they split, with sources claiming at the time they’d ‘grown apart’ after becoming more aware of their seven-year age gap.
A source close to the couple told The Sun: ‘They want to remain civil with each other and hope to remain friends. There’s been no funny business, no cheating or anything like that, it’s just fizzled out between them.’
