Exclusive: Jason Kelce defends Taylor Swift: “She’s a Beautiful role model to this Generation”

Jason Kelce recently expressed his admiration for Taylor Swift, defending the pop superstar against criticism for getting too much attention at NFL games due to her relationship with his brother, Travis Kelce. The Philadelphia Eagles center, 36, praised Swift as a world star and a role model for young women, emphasizing her immense talent as a singer-songwriter.

He pointed out that the NFL’s decision to showcase Swift during games is a reflection of the audience’s interest in her, stating, “The attention is there because the audience wants to see it.”

Jason also highlighted Swift’s significant impact on the NFL, generating $330 million and increasing female viewership since debuting her relationship with Travis at a game in September 2023.

However, not everyone has been supportive of Swift’s presence at NFL events. Kelly Clarkson faced backlash after commenting on her talk show about Swift’s romance overshadowing sports, while comedian Jo Koy made a joke about Swift’s frequent appearances during NFL games at the 2024 Golden Globes, receiving criticism for it.
