College football fans are in a frenzy over an intriguing rumor surrounding Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning.
After what will have been a lengthy 11-year wait, the popular EA Sports NCAA “College Football” video game franchise will return this year. “College Football 25” is set to be released at some point this summer.
There is a rumor going around X/Twitter that Manning will grace the cover of the “College Football 25” game. Arch will serve as a backup to Quinn Ewers next season, but the former’s status as a member of the legendary Manning football family certainly makes him an intriguing choice for the game cover.
And as you would guess, social media had a lot to say on the idea of Arch potentially gracing the cover of the game…
Arch is the son of Cooper Manning, the oldest son of former NFL quarterback Archie Manning. Cooper’s two younger brothers, Peyton and Eli Manning, are also former NFL quarterbacks who each went on to win a pair of Super Bowl championships.
The 18-year-old Arch committed to the Longhorns football program last year. Many expected Ewers to declare for the 2024 NFL Draft, but in a surprise move, he decided to commit to one more year of college.
Alas, the wait for Arch to step onto the NCAA football field as a starting QB continues.
