The 2024 Pro Bowl Games concluded with an exciting flag football matchup that saw the NFC earn a second consecutive win over the AFC.

With an overall score of 64-59, Eli Manning is victorious over his older brother Peyton Manning for the second straight year. The NFC dominated the skills competitions before closing out the back-and-forth flag football game with a goal-line stand that sealed the victory.

Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud’s pass to Los Angeles Chargers receiver Keenan Allen was deflected by Chicago Bears cornerback Jaylon Johnson with four seconds remaining.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield was named Offensive MVP after entering the game in the second half and throwing a pair of touchdown passes, including the go-ahead score for the NFC.

Other stars included Dallas Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb, who notched three touchdown catches, and Detroit Lions receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, who had 10 catches for 117 yards and a touchdown. Stroud led all passers with 173 yards on 18-of-22 passing, and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith led the NFC with 154 yards.

Following the continued success of the Pro Bowl Games this year, it’s clear that the new format is here to stay. It’ll be interesting to see which players earn selections to next year’s showcase.
