LeBron James continues to amaze with his Year 21 performance.

LeBron James’ Year 21 performance continues to amaze the basketball world. At 39 years old, King James is still playing at an elite level no one has ever seen before from a guy that age, not even the great Michael Jordan.

Former NBA player Jeff Teague is the latest to give LeBron his flowers. Speaking on his Club 520 podcast, Jeff said that what The King is doing is so crazy that his former Cavs teammate Tristan Thompson tried to cheat his way into following in Bron’s footsteps.

“We got lucky to see probably the greatest player ever, arguably,” said Teague. “I mean to be doing what he doing that way, he 39 now, sh** crazy. Gilbert Arenas made a great point. The criticism we didn’t give Mike when he was 39 when he was hooping, and we be on Bron’s a**, he killin’ way more than Jordan was. To see what ‘Bron is doing, and then to see what the other ni**** did at 39, this ni*** is crazy. Tristan try to keep up with; that’s why he had it. Whatever that dose is, bruh, he got his…”

Tristan got busted

Not that Tristan is as old as LeBron because he is only 32, but with the NBA mileage starting to take its toll on his body after over a decade of playing, Thompson resorted to taking illegal drugs, perhaps to keep up with the daily grind. He was busted and suspended 25 games without pay by the league.

Thompson tested positive for ibutamoren and SARM LGD-4033. The drug ibutamoren is often used as an anabolic to increase lean body mass. Meanwhile, SARM LGD-4033 is designed to help build strength and muscles while increasing physical endurance.

TT is in his 12th season in the league and has logged a total of 766 career games played. The 4th pick of the 2011 NBA Draft appeared in 36 games for the Cavs this season and was averaging 3.8 points and 3.9 rebounds per game in 12.4 minutes of playing time.

Nobody critiqued Mike when the Wizards didn’t make the playoffs

Last month, former Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas noted that nobody critiqued Michael Jordan when he failed to take the Washington Wizards to the playoffs despite overhauling the roster to cater to his needs.

“When Michael Jordan was playing with the Wizards and he bring all those vets to try to win some games, they were supposed to be a playoff seed. When they were losing, no one talked bad about Michael Jordan. No one said nothing,” Arenas said. “So why y’all not do it for this 39-year-old (James)? Why is he expected to win when the GOAT didn’t?”

Jordan ended up getting fired by the late team, owner Abe Pollin because the team wanted him out. Meanwhile, James continues to receive criticism even if his Lakers are in the thick of the playoff hunt and despite coming off a season where they made the Western Conference Finals.
