The military-style jacket that Janet Jackson wore during her 1990 Rhythm Nation tour sold for $81,250 at an auction in Beverly Hills (USA) on May 14, more than 20 times the original estimate.

Janet Jackson’s black metallic jacket was one of the highlights of three days of selling costumes and other memorabilia from the singer’s more than four decades of performing. Auction house Julien’s Auctions said the jacket is expected to sell for between $4,000 and $6,000. The buyer of the jacket was not disclosed, according to Reuters.
