Janet Jackson’s one-time Aston Martin car, and a costume she wore in the 1995 video for Scream, her collaboration with her late brother Michael, were among the highest-bid items in a charity auction the entertainer held Sunday.
Janet, 56, parted ways with a massive amount of classic memorabilia while donating part of the proceeds to charity in an auction in which she sold more than 800 items, including her outfits and costumes from music videos and tours.
The auction was held live at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York and online at Julien’s Live over the weekend.
A 2003 Aston Martin V12 Vanquish sold for $92,075 based on 17 bids, eclipsing the expected bidding price of $50,000 – $70,000.
It features a black leather interior with charcoal inserts, and its DOHC 48-valve 6.0 liter 12-cylinder engine can produce 460 horsepower and can reach speeds of up to 200 miles per hour, while it can hit 60 miles per hour in just 4.9 seconds.

Another standout of the collection – a white long-sleeve puckered shirt that Janet wore in her classic Scream music video – sold for $31,750.
The song was the lead single from Michael’s 1995 album HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I, and it’s stylish black-and-white music video was among the most-expensive music videos ever due to its $7 million price tag.
Janet wore the white textured shirt, along with an off-white faux leather bikini top which was also part of the auction.
The songstress went all in on padded shoulders with a striking black Richard Tyler coat featuring velvet lapels, which sold for $5,850.
She wore the eye-catching look on her 1990 Rhythm Nation tour when she sang her iconic songs Control and Nasty.
The auction included a black pinstripe suit that Janet rocked in her 1989 Alright video, before reviving it for her Velvet Rope tour, which sold for $25,400 over 27 bids.
Other items included in the auction included some of Janet’s microphones.
One of them, a Swarovski crystal-encrusted Sennheiser microphone she used onstage, sold for $19,500.

Another item that sold on the auction block for $5,850 was a two-piece yellow suit with prominent shoulder pads and a red-and-yellow polka dotted scarf in the left pocket.
She had on the outfit while singing Alright on her janet. tour and on her television special The Jackson Family Honors, which aired in 1994.
