There will inevitably be some drama when you belong to a large family like Janet Jackson’s. The most recent piece of rumor to garner attention came from TJ Jackson’s Twitter page, where he notably shared his opinions on his aunt’s prior performances. He made these remarks in response to another user who had posted an explicit video of a R&B singer groping a man in front of an audience.
After tweeting that she and black women generally were being “hyper-sexualized,” Janet Jackson’s nephew sparked discussion on social media. TJ Jackson tweeted on Monday about how he felt about his aunt’s use of her sexuality and how it “degrades and puts women down in an unhealthy way.”

Real name, Janet Damita Jo Jackson has established herself as a legend and an icon in the music business as a result of her multifaceted career and distinctive style over many years. Though, her one of the family members doesn’t care for any of her performances.
Janet Jackson’s Sensual Performances Slammed by Her Nephew
Janet Jackson’s 44-year-old nephew tweeted his opinions in response to a fan’s posting of a video of her singing ‘live’ Would You live. The son of Tito Jackson, TJ Jackson, admitted he had never been a fan of her steamy performances, explaining that in his view they undervalued the talent of a musical legend.
He responded to the tweet by saying, “I never liked when she did this in concerts either. I don’t like when females are overly sexualized in art…it degrades and objectify’s [sic] women in a way that’s not healthy. I prefer ‘That’s the Way Love Goes’ Janet.”

However, TJ didn’t stop there. His tweet sparked a lively conversation on the social media platform, in which he enthusiastically participated.
When someone questioned whether Janet Jackson’s relationship with him might be complicated by the fact that she is his “literal aunt,” he rebuffed the question and responded that it “just diminishes her amazing talent.”
The supporter disagreed, saying they didn’t believe a woman having a sexual orientation would lessen their talent. The fan then argued that the fact that Prince Rogers Nelson was performing while humping the floor did not lessen either artist’s talent. “What’s the difference?”

TJ disagreed with the fan’s assertion that his aunt “got a lot dirtier” than any other artists but chose not to directly answer the query, stating instead that Black women are treated better outside of the US and that he thinks “it has to do with how we allow ourselves to be projected here.”
TJ Jackson Even Praised His Aunt As ‘A Trailblazer And An Icon’
The supporters countered that sexually explicit songs have been produced by a variety of artists, not just Black women and that many of them go much further than anything Janet Jackson has ever released. Even though TJ Jackson did agree with the statement, he said, “We don’t get many chairs at the table…so we have to be smarter with what we put out there and accept from ourselves.”
But in the end, he praised Janet Jackson as “a trailblazer and an icon,” despite his harsh criticism of this specific aspect of her career.
I agree. She wouldn’t have had it any other way. She is a trailblazer and an icon. From Control to RN to All for You to Gone Till It’s Gone…There will never be another JJ.

He pinned a tweet to the top of his page to try and make it clear that he is not disparaging his aunt and holds her in the highest regard because, according to reports, the back and forth about his comments on social media got so intense.
On professional front, Janet Jackson will start her Together Again tour on April 14 in Hollywood, Florida. Before coming to an end on June 21 in Seattle, the multi-city tour will stop in a number of cities, including Houston, Atlanta, New York, and San Diego.
