Travis Kelce and Super Bowl 2024 Players Tear Up Over Special Messages from Family Members Ahead of Game

Everybody that’s helped me get to this point, I get to represent them,” the Chiefs tight end said of his loved ones who helped pave his way in sports.

In an emotional pregame moment on
Sunday, NFL players Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, Brock Purdy and more spoke about the importance of the game, and the familiar faces that led them there.

Set to an orchestral rendition of Sinatra’s “My Way,” the players received messages from family as they made their way to the final stage.

Kelce, 34, teared up as he watched a childhood video of himself. “Everybody that’s helped me get to this point, I get to represent them,” he said. “It’s a good feeling, man.”

“What better stage to showcase who you are? This is why I love playing in the Super Bowl. It’s been a hell of a journey, baby,” the Chiefs tight end also said. “My family — I owe everything to them.”
