Travis Kelce Announces His Decision on Retirement Following Super Bowl LVIII

Travis Kelce and the Chiefs are officially the NFL’s 2024 Super Bowl champions.

Kelce didn’t score a touchdown, but he came away with nine clutches for 93 yards to help Kansas City win its second-straight NFL championship.

Now, questions about Kelce’s future are starting to arise. For starters, he’s dating Taylor Swift. And given their busy schedules, one might wonder whether 34-year-old tight end wants to end his football career to go on tour with Swift and support her throughout her music career.

However, Kelce isn’t going to let his relationship get in the way of trying to win a third-straight NFL title.

Kelce announced after Super Bowl LVIII that he’s returning to play for the Chiefs next season. He wants to win another Lombardi Trophy.

“Hell yeah,” Kelce said when asked if he’s going to play next season. “I want that three-peat.”

As long as Kelce and Mahomes are Chiefs, they’re going to be Super Bowl contenders.
