Jennifer Lawrence took a break from promoting her new comedy film, “No Hard Feelings,” to attend the wedding of close friends. The 32-year-old actress was seen arriving at a New York City courthouse in a stunning semi-sheer yellow dress, paired with an olive green trench coat and peep-toe heels.

She greeted the cameras with a wave and a smile as she entered the Louis J. Lefkowitz Building. The bride looked beautiful in a white mini dress with a plunging neckline, while the groom looked dapper in a dark blue suit. The happy couple shared a kiss outside the building, capturing the moment in a photo.Jennifer herself has been happily married since 2019 to art dealer Cooke Maroney, with whom she has a one-year-old son named Cy.

Although Jennifer is now a household name, she almost turned down the iconic role of Katniss Everdeen in “The Hunger Games” due to concerns about the level of fame.

After witnessing the immense attention received by the stars of the “Twilight” series, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, Jennifer hesitated to take on a similarly high-profile role. She even auditioned for “Twilight” but was immediately turned down.

Fortunately, she ultimately decided to accept the role of Katniss, which catapulted her to international fame. Reflecting on her decision, Jennifer admitted that she had not anticipated the overwhelming level of fame she would achieve.

Nevertheless, she remains grateful for the opportunities that have come her way and still aims to work on independent films rather than solely pursuing blockbuster fame.
