Jennifer Lawrence committed a sartorial faux-pas as she flashed her huge knickers underneath her designer gown at a Dior fashion event.

The jet-setting actress had flown into France especially for Paris’ glamorous couture week.

Jennifer made sure to turn heads as she arrived in her semi-nude outfit that showed off plenty of skin.

But it was her giant white boxer shorts that really caught the eye as they were clearly visible underneath her sheer skirt.

The large briefs were reminiscent of those famously worn by Renne Zelleweger in the Bridge Jones films – although Jennifer’s trendy pair came with the Dior name branded on the waistband.

Flouncing the rule of chest or legs, Jennifer’s patterned black skirt gave more than a hint of her toned pins, boosted in her high heels.

The fashionista completed her quirky look with an eye-popping orange handbag and thick dark sunglasses.

The unusual dress is from Dior’s fall 2017 collection.

26-year-old Jennifer was one of many famous faces to show their support for the opening of Dior’s 70 year retrospective at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris.

Earlier in the week she joined the likes of Cara Delevigne and Bella Hadid at a party to celebrate the French Fashion house’s milestone anniversary.
