Karan Johar mistakenly calls Shahid Kapoor as Kareena Kapoor Khan’s ex-husband. Check out how she reacted!

Bollywood actress, Kareena Kapoor Khan is a diva, and she is known for handling goof-ups like a pro. She has carved a special place in the hearts of millions of her fan following with her acting prowess. She is still hailed as the ‘Poo’ from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and is loved by the nation for her role as ‘Geet’ in Jab We Met. After which, there was no looking back for the starlet.

However, the best thing about Kareena is that she has always embraced herself in different stages of her life. She had won hearts when she had decided to tie the knot with Saif Ali Khan, who was thirteen years older than her. Their relationship proved that age is just a number. Kareena also left us in awe when she flaunted her fully-grown baby bump during both of her pregnancies.

Recently, Kareena was invited to the Koffee With Karan season 7 with Aamir Khan. During the opening segment, Karan was praising Kareena, but it was his slip of the tongue that left everyone shocked, and it made it to the final cut of the show. Yes, Karan Johar called Kareena Kapoor Khan’s ex-boyfriend, Shahid Kapoor, her ex-husband. He said:

“Bebo, you have been on this show so many times. You have come in different stages of your life. Bebo has been with her husband, ex-hus…”

This left, Kareena shocked, and she immediately interrupted. Karan realised his mistake soon and corrected his statement. The host of the show said:

“Not ex-husband, sorry. She’s been with her ex-boyfriend. She’s then been with her contemporary and I have seen you through all these stages.”

Kareena has always been outspoken. She had once shared an interesting revelation on her talk show, What Women Want, wherein she asked her guest Kunal Kemmu who is the first one to apologise when he and his wife, Soha Ali Khan fight. Kunal had quipped that the word ‘sorry’ is there in Soha’s dictionary, but the page had gotten torn and was reattached in the wrong place. On this, Kareena had shared:

“I feel even Saif says sorry. He is the one who always says sorry also. I think men generally… probably, it is them making the mistakes. So it’s better to say sorry and end it and make peace. Otherwise, you can’t sleep.”

For the unversed, Kareena had dated Shahid during the mid-early and mid-2000s. But they had parted ways in 2007.
