Loose Women pulled off air in shock ITV schedule shake-up as audience boos

The hit ITV chat show typically airs every weekday at 12:30pm until 1pm. However, on Thursday, the programme only aired for 30 mins before it was pulled off air at 1pm. Replacing it was ITV Lunchtime, which aired from 1pm before ITV Racing: Live from Newmarket took over coverage at 1:30pm with it due to end at 4pm.

And it’s bad news for Loose Women on Friday (12 July) too as the ITV chat show will again be finishing at the earlier time of 1pm. Addressing the end of Thursday’s show, host Charlene White said: “That’s it, we’re done because the racing’s on!” to which her co-stars – Olivia Attwood, Linda Robson and Sue Cleaver – all booed with the audience also joining in.

It comes as Emmerdale and Coronation Street viewers were left disappointed on Wednesday 10 July as the ITV shows were cancelled in a huge schedule shake-up. The hit ITV soaps typically air on Wednesday night with Emmerdale airing 7:30pm while Coronation Street airs 8pm. However, last night, in a huge schedule shake-up, viewers missed out on their soap fix thanks to the Live UEFA Euros 2024, where England played the Netherlands.

Meanwhile, it’s not just the soaps interrupted as Love Island was in a huge schedule shake-up on Wednesday night with the show airing at a later time. The hit ITV2 dating series typically airs at 9pm on ITV2 but on Wednesday night (10 July) Love Island aired at 10pm instead.

Wednesday’s episode was full of explosive scenes as four Islanders left the Love Island villa in another brutal dumping – and Jess White was among them. In scenes aired on July 10 over on ITV2, couples were reeling from Uma Jammeh’s shock exit, which took place after new bombshell Reuben had tried to steal her from Wil Anderson. But hours after the loved-up pair walked out of the villa hand-in-hand, Jess, Blade, Emma and Hugo were all dumped after they failed to gain the public’s vote.
