Angel Reese’s Physical Play Results in Player Being Hit in the Face, No Foul Called, Leading to Coach’s Ejection.

In a recent game, Angel Reese’s aggressive play led to an opposing player being struck in the face, with no foul called by the officials.

The incident escalated further when the coach’s reaction to the non-call resulted in their ejection from the game, adding another layer of intensity to the matchup involving the #7 LSU Tigers.

Reese’s forceful action, which resulted in the player being hit in the face, raised eyebrows among spectators and players alike.

Despite the clear contact and its impact on the game, the absence of a foul call left many puzzled and frustrated, highlighting the subjectivity and scrutiny often associated with officiating decisions.

The situation took a dramatic turn when the coach, reacting to the perceived injustice, voiced their disagreement with the officials’ decision.

However, their protestations proved costly as they were ejected from the game, further fueling the tension and emotions surrounding the matchup.

As the game unfolded, the incident involving Reese’s physical play, the absence of a foul call, and the subsequent ejection of the coach became talking points among fans and analysts, underscoring the importance of fair play, effective officiating, and maintaining composure in high-stakes situations.

As Mulkey demanded answers from referees, Reese, 21, held her coach back from causing more of a scene on the court.

During the team’s postgame media availability on Sunday, Reese said it “was fine” that she had to hold Mulkey back, and explained that she and her coach share similar expectations when it comes to winning.

“Me and coach Mulkey have similar personalities, and we really like to win no matter the score,” Reese told reporters.

The LSU star added, “And of course she’s going to fight for us, and we all fight for her, so that moment was fun, and we knew she had our back and we had her back.”

Reese and Mulkey recently made headlines after Reese was inexplicably absent from the team for a stretch of games.

Reese didn’t play in LSU’s pummeling 59-point victory over Texas Southern on Nov. 20, but Mulkey delivered a puzzling response to a question about what’s keeping her from playing with the team.
