There wasn’t a dry eye in the house when Selena Gomez took the stage at the American Music Awards and delivered an emotional speech.

Apparently, we weren’t the only ones who were moved. Selena’s ex Justin Bieber reportedly shed some tears as well. There are obviously still a lot of feelings between the two, at least on Justin’s side. Even though Bieber wasn’t in the audience live at the awards show in Los Angeles, he made sure to catch Selena’s shining moment from his show in Europe.

It was Gomez’s triumphant return to the public eye after months in rehab dealing with anxiety and depression, which had a profound effect on Justin. He’s had his share of emotional ups and downs lately, most of which appear to be Selena-related.

When recently asked about his current relationship with Gomez, Bieber reportedly shut down, refusing to answer any questions. But it seems he’s just more concerned with her health and well-being than anything else.
