When it comes to fashion, this Kardashian kid doesn’t hold back.

North West, 10, shared some pearls of wisdom for her mom, Kim Kardashian, in a preview for the new episode of “The Kardashians” on Hulu Thursday, revealing that her 2023 Met Gala look wasn’t quite her cup of tea.

The Skims founder, who wore a pearl-draped Schiaparelli creation for this year’s Met red carpet, headed to a fitting for the dress during the latest episode, FaceTiming her eldest daughter in the process.

While North says, “I love it,” in the clip, causing Kardashian to exclaim in shock, “That’s the first time I’ve ever heard you say ‘I love it!’” it turns out she changed her mind when she saw the gown in real life.

“North, she’s usually my biggest critic, and now I’ve got the stamp of approval from North, and that’s all I needed,” the mom of four says to the camera.

However, Kim’s relief was to be short-lived, because in a preview for next Thursday’s episode, North has some harsh words for her mom.

“This is my tenth Met and it will never get old,” the Skkn by Kim founder says in a voiceover as images of the reality star posing in her pearl look flash on the screen.

The preview then shows North, who is dressed in a black leather jacket, giving her thoughts on the dress as her mom models it, quipping, “It’s looking like beachy and the pearls look fake.”

While the 50,000 freshwater pearls making the dress were definitely real — as Kim revealed to Vogue on the red carpet — North’s criticism seemed to have hit a nerve in the scene, with designer Daniel Roseberry replying, “This is my worst nightmare.”

North’s harsh comment wasn’t the only Met Gala drama for the red carpet regular this year; her meeting with Karl Lagerfeld’s cat, Choupette, was quite the catastrophe, resulting in her attending the event solo rather than risking a date night attack from the pampered pet.

Kardashian also experienced another setback when some of the pearls from her gown went flying off ahead of the event.

“Some popped on the way,” she admitted to Vogue. “And I told my daughter to grab them all, they’re real pearls and she was putting them in her purse.”

As for North, we’re eagerly awaiting her first Met Gala appearance … and we have a feeling this is one look she won’t be borrowing from mom.
