Cardi B responded to Kanye West saying she’s a music industry “plant” by the Illuminati.
So-called “industry plants” — such as aspiring rappers Ice Spice, Sexyy Red, Sukihana and GloRilla — are backed by major record labels despite having no real talent.
In leaked video footage from an unreleased 2018 documentary, Kanye claims Cardi B is a plant to take over Nicki Minaj’s spot.
He said Cardi doesn’t write her own songs and she was pushed by the record label to “sound as ignorant as possible.”
“Cardi B is a plant by the Illuminati,” he said.
“She don’t write her raps. She just there to sound as ignorant as possible and then make songs like, ‘f-ck them and get some money.’ She has literally replaced Nicki Minaj, purposely that they put her there, and now she doesn’t know what to do, and she has no idea what the f-ck is going on. She thinks it’s just a blessing from the universe. It ain’t no blessing from the universe.”
At first Cardi seemed to forgive Kanye. She shared video from an interview Kanye did with Jason Lee in 2022 in which he spoke highly of Cardi B and said how much he loves her.
They even joined forces on the 2022 single “Hot Sh-t” with Lil Durk — another suspected industry plant.
But Cardi B woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. She came for Kanye and all of her haters who say she’s an industry plant.
She warned her haters not to bring “Belcalis the demon” out of her, referring to her government name.
“Let me keep it cute, and to my haters and to y’all MFs that wanna see mess, leave me the f–k alone!” she said in a now-deleted Instagram Stories.
“I come with receipts — years old receipts,” she said. “I got receipts on all you n*ggas and you b*tches.”
“So let me keep it cute,” she added. “I have matured… Facts! I literally got real receipts with dates. So leave me alone, ’cause y’all not gonna be ready for that… Let me mind my business, let me keep working, let me be a mom, let me keep putting music out. Don’t try to bring Belcalis out.”
It sounds like Cardi B is serious. You have been warned.
