LeBron James and Dillon Brooks continued their feud as they met on Wednesday night in the USA Showdown game between the USA and Canada. The T-Mobile Arena crowd caught a glimpse of their old beef early in the pre-Olympic exhibition game.

During the middle of the first quarter, when the ball went out of bounds, LeBron grabbed it and came back, only to shrug Brooks, who was standing nearby. The 39-year-old made contact twice, but the Canadian swingman didn’t react. The game official had whistled before the Las Vegas court could witness another fiery altercation between the two.

The atmosphere was a little tense as the two teams were determined to show their absolute best. Last year, Canada took the lead in LeBron’s absence and won third place in the World Cup. However, in pre-games, the USA men’s basketball team had kept a result of 34-3 until now and was in no way giving up to Canada.

While the USA Team was getting all pumped up for the big game, LeBron kept an eye on how his son, Bronny James, was performing in the ongoing Summer League.

LeBron James Watches Summer League Before USA’s Game

Amid all the preparation for the USA vs. Canada game, LeBron James didn’t forget his fatherly duties. The 4-time NBA champion was keeping track of the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Heat game before the practice session began. The major reason behind it was Bronny James.

LeBron was spotted watching the game on his phone before stretching up for his match. The game ended up disappointing as Junior James couldn’t get more than three points on Wednesday in the Summer League game. Being the son of the 20-time All-Star, it’s even more pressurizing as he has faced narratives of nepotism.

After his first outing in the Lakers color which ended up in a loss to the Kings, this also ended in a defeat. With only 7 points in two outings, LeBron James will need his son to pick up the pace as the world keeps watching with mountainous expectations.
