KANSAS City Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes revealed a distinct piece of clothing that he’s worn for every single game of his career.
The two-time Super Bowl champion shared his superstition during the “Manningcast” broadcast of the Monday Night Football game between the Denver Broncos and Buffalo Bills.

Mahomes and the Chiefs were on the bye in Week 10.
During the second quarter of the primetime game, the 28-year-old was able to appear on ESPN 2’s Manningcast which features NFL legend brothers Peyton and Eli Manning.
And Mahomes confirmed a past rumor that he wears the same pair of red underwear on game days during the NFL season.
“First, my wife Brittany got them for me, so I’m not throwing y’all down, but I have to wear them,” Mahomes said.
“At the same time, I threw them on that first season, we had a pretty good season that season.
“I only wear them for game day though, so they’re not too worn down, they’re not like these nasty (underwear), I clean them.”
However, the two-time MVP admitted that he only washes his underwear when the Chiefs lose a respective game.
“I wash them, every once in a while at least,” Mahomes added.
“I mean, if we’re on a hot streak, I can’t wash them, you know?
“I’ve just got to keep it rolling.
“As long as I’m winning football games, I’ll keep the superstition going.”
Mahomes’ underwear superstition first began as a rumor when former Kansas City backup quarterback Chad Henne said he dons the same red underwear for each game.
The NFL superstar quarterback also correctly predicted three plays in a row during the Broncos’ 24-22 win against the Bills.
He will take part in Monday Night Football next week as Kansas City squares off against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 11.
The Chiefs defeated the Eagles 38-35 in Super Bowl 57 last season.
