Kansas City won their second Super Bowl in four years after a thrilling win at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

MVP Quarterback Mahomes led a second-half fightback from 10 points down in a 38-35 victory.

And the city had a massive party for their returning heroes.

It apparently was too much for Mahomes with fans claiming he looked to have had too much to drink.

Video footage from the parade showed him drinking cans of beer and looking worse for wear.

Mahomes gathered himself to make a speech on stage for the fans in attendance.

He said: “Before we started this season the AFC West said we were rebuilding.

“I’m going to be honest with you, I don’t know what rebuilding means.

“In our rebuilding year we’re world champs – we’re world champs.

“I just want to let you know that this is just the beginning. We ain’t done yet.”

Fans wouldn’t leave Mahomes alone for a second.

Videos showed some of them gathered around a porta-potty the quarterback was using — and even giving him applause as he was leaving.

Tight end Kelce, meanwhile, was joined by his mom Donna on the bus.

Donna was guaranteed a victory with her oldest son Jason playing for the Eagles.

And Travis told the fans: “Let me take you back to April 2022. Guys were getting signed left and right.

“The haters were saying the Chiefs would never make the playoffs. The haters were saying the Chiefs were done.

“This was the best season of my life. I owe it to everybody in Chiefs Kingdom.

“Everybody has been asking if this is a dynasty. It’s been a dynasty, you just didn’t know it yet.

“Let’s run this s**t back.”

Reports in the local media claim the event cost upwards of $3million to stage.

Thousands of fans lined the streets of a route downtown similar to the one the team took in 2020.

It began at Sixth and Grand in downtown at 12pm local time – 1pm ET.

And the team traveled along the route for just under two hours until they reached the end.

Thousands more fans were waiting for them at Union Station for a rally.

And the celebrations continued even after the players exited the stage in Kansas City.
