Kris Jenner has revealed she has undergone a hysterectomy after doctors discovered a tumour on her ovary and wanted to stop any risk of it growing.

The Kardashians matriarch, 68, broke down in tears during last week’s episode of the Hulu show when she shared the news with her children.

Kris was advised it was the ‘best thing’ to have her ovaries and uterus removed after a ‘little tumour’ and a cyst was found in the area.

Speaking in the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kris told friends Kathy Hilton and Faye Resnick: ‘I’m gonna have a hysterectomy.’

‘It started out as just getting some ovaries removed, and then today I got a phone call – “They found something, we’re here to fix it.”

She said: ‘It started out as just getting some ovaries removed, and then today I got a phone call – “We found something, we’re here to fix it”

‘I’m going to remove something that gave me six of the best parts of my whole life’, referring to her brood of six children.

Kris – who has children Kourtney Kardashian, 45, Kim Kardashian, 43, Khloé Kardashian, 40, Rob Kardashian, 37, Kendall Jenner, 28, and Kylie Jenner, 26 – admitted she was feeling ‘very emotional’ about the procedure.

Speaking to the camera, she later said: ‘I’m very emotional about it, because when you’re young, you start talking about wanting a family.

‘It was all we talked about literally for 40, 50 years. So, here we are now talking about it again and it’s the other side of the process.’

Kim and Khloe sprung into action to try and cheer up their mom by throwing her a party ahead of her hysterectomy surgery.

In confession, Kim says: ‘My mom is pretty sad about having to lose her ovaries and I think we just need to make it into a positive moment and bring her something to cheer her up and just celebrate the amazing work those ovaries have done.’

Kim walks into Kris’ house and says: ‘I brought us a little cake,’ as she finds Kris and her boyfriend Corey Gamble.

Kris reads the cake – ‘It’s not ovary yet’ – as she bursts into laughter as Khloe walks in with flowers and balloons.

‘Cake and balloons and flowers?’ Kris exclaims, as Khloe says: ‘We know that my mom is feeling a little anxious about her operation coming up. What we do best is we rally around each other in times of need, in happy times, when we’re scared.’

Kris clutches her huge bouquet of flowers and proclaims: ‘I feel like I just gave birth all over again,’ as Khloe adds, ‘…to six f***ing phenomenal human beings.’

Kim chips in: ‘Your ovaries have worked overtime,’ as Khloe adds, ‘Like leave them alone.’

Kris adds in confession, ‘I loved being pregnant, loved loved loved being pregnant,’ as we see throwback snaps of her with various baby bumps.

‘I do mourn not ever being able to be pregnant again. It was just this delicious time in my life where I felt like everything came to a halt. Life was beautiful. It was the best time of my life, the best years,’ Kris says in confession.

Back at Kris’ house, Kris cuts the cake, adding: ‘To new beginnings, knowing I’ll never be pregnant again.’

‘Where are the rest of your kids?’ Khloe asks, as Corey says, ‘Kourtney seems like she should’ve been first here.’

Kim adds before taking a bite of cake: ‘I would just say, make note of the ones that show up, show up first,’ with a wink.

Kim adds with a smile: ‘That’s what I would do in my will. Who showed up at my ovary party?’

In a teaser for next week’s episode, Kris reassuringly told the cameras: ‘I’m done with my surgery, and I feel great!’

Last week, Kris was seen breaking down when she gathered Kim, Khloe and Kendall around and emotionally informed the trio about a tumour being found on her ovary.

She told them: ‘I wanted to tell you guys something because I hadn’t told you yet but … you know I went to the doctor and I had my scan, they found – and this just makes me really emotional but – they found a cyst and a little tumour on my ovary.

‘And so I went to the doctor and Dr. A said I’ve got to have my ovaries taken out. And I’m just really emotional about it because you know they came in handy with you guys.

Kris said: ‘I wanted to tell you guys something. I had my scan. And this just makes me really emotional, but they found something’

 She told her kids that her doctor had found a cyst and a tumour before the scene cut to a teary eyed video

‘If I can get through the hip replacement, I can get through this. I don’t even … I’m not nervous to be put to sleep, I’m not nervous with Dr. A. She’s the best doctor in the world, but then you go to do it and it’s so real.

‘It’s also a thing about getting older and it’s like a sign of like we’re done with you know part of your life, it’s a whole chapter that’s just closed.

‘It’s the dumbest thing, but I love you guys and I just wanted you to know.’
