As anyone familiar with the modern music landscape will already know, there is Taylor Swift and everyone else. Extremely successful, to say the least, Swift has released a slew of hit songs, many of which she wrote or co-wrote, and she has become extremely wealthy.
Unfortunately for Swift, however, her personal life is gossiped about constantly. Fans even examine Swift’s relationship with her parents and her brother’s employment status. Of course, it is Swift’s love life that gets talked about the most with fans even ranking which of her exes they like the most. Unfortunately, sometimes the gossip goes too far, including the time Swift was outraged by pregnancy rumors.
Why Was Taylor Swift Outraged By The Joe Jonas Pregnancy Rumors?
In 2008, Taylor Swift turned 19 years old as she was working hard to take over the music industry. Of course, garnering major success in the entertainment business is a near-impossible pursuit. As a result, it is even more staggering that Swift took the music business by storm while also batting down rumors about Joe Jonas.

At the time the couple broke up, fans still wanted to talk about Swift and Jonas some more. However, the way that some observers chose to still focus on the former couple in the weeks after their breakup made Swift extremely upset.
In November 2008, rumors began circulating online which claimed that Swift was carrying Jonas’ baby. While there was no real reason to think that was true, the rumors picked up so much steam that Swift addressed them.
After rumors that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are dating surfaced, the NFL has been cashing in.
When Swift was interviewed by Access Hollywood at that time, she began to address the rumors. From the moment the topic came up, it was pretty hard not to realize that Swift was extremely upset with the talk going around about her.

“There are these rumors going around the internet today, that are very creative, saying that I’m pregnant. Which is impossible and impossible. It’s so crazy when you spend your entire life and all of your energy trying to be a good person and trying to be a good role model and trying to make the right decision and you make the right decisions and you make the right choices and people make things up about you,”

“It’s a little offensive, honestly.”
Later during the same interview, Swift stated how frightening she found it that people could make things up about her that quickly go viral.
A Swiftie security guard got in big trouble after Taylor Swift’s security team learned of his unprofessional behavior.
“I have devoted my entire life to not having something like that happen. It’s really, really scary that someone can just say something and it gets spread around the Internet and all of a sudden it’s a verified rumor, with no grounds.”
Based on what Swift had said during the interview up until that point, it was already upsetting that the singer was so affected. However, what she would go on to say really proves how damaging a false rumor can be for someone.
TheThings“I didn’t do anything to provoke that. Like I’m sitting there thinking, like what? Did I wear the wrong shirt?”
After making that statement, Swift would later speak out about her struggles with an eating disorder. In her documentary Miss Americana, Swift spoke about seeing photos of herself and judging the size of her stomach. Keeping in mind the following quote, it is sad to think about how Swift was affected by these rumors.
“[Sometimes I’ve seen] a picture of me where I feel like I looked like my tummy was too big, or… someone said that I looked pregnant … and that’ll just trigger me to just starve a little bit — just stop eating.”
Inside All Of Taylor Swift’s Pregnancy Rumors
Fans are confused by the mixed signals Drake has sent out about his relationship with Taylor Swift.
Sadly, however, the truth is that even though Swift’s bravery deserves admiration, her words didn’t stop many people.
To this day, it is pretty common for there to be pregnancy rumors about celebrities. Worse yet, Swift has been the subject of several pregnancy rumors herself in the years since she rightfully railed against them as a teen.
In 2006, OK Magazine seemed really invested in the idea that Swift might have been pregnant at the time. After all, the magazine published an issue that had a cover photo of Swift alongside the headline “Who’s the dad?”.
Via: InstarOnly a year after that, Teen Vogue published an article that focused on yet another round of pregnancy rumors about Swift. Based on the magazine’s description of what sparked that round of rumors, it is amazing what caused so much gossip.
“Taylor hosted a listening party for some of her biggest fans at her home, previewing songs from her new album, Reputation. In one photo, she stands with a Swifty, hand on hip, wearing a loose sweatshirt dress.”
