Britney Spears has once again been publicly supported by long-time pal Paris Hilton after the singer shed tears during her latest Instagram

The songstress, 40, regularly shares videos of her showing off her dance moves to tunes at home but emotions ran high in her recent video as she couldn’t hold back the tears.

But she made it extremely clear it was anything but a “breakdown” and instead called it the “release that I’ve needed for a very long time”.

In the clip, Brit fills her performance full of energy and is seen singing along and smiling as she spins to the rhythm of the beat. But near the end of the clip, she is seen covering her face with her hands shaking before staring at the camera with tearful eyes.

However, she quickly moved to explain to her 42 million followers she was fine and it was simply a “spiritual experience”. The pop princess explained in the caption for the video: “It’s been a while since I’ve cried on camera !!! It’s not a breakdown a**holes, it’s a release that I’ve needed for a very long time now !!! Spiritual experience for sure !!!

“I think I need to do that way more !!! Psss… bawling !!! End pssss …”

Many fans took to the comments section to praise her for being so open. One user wrote: “Awww babe. There are so many of us here that support you in whatever you need to do for your journey! We can’t even fathom what it must feel like to be trapped for over 13 years. you have come leaps and bounds! We adore you.”

And Paris Hilton was also on hand to show her support to her friend, simply sending an emoji with love heart eyes. The socialite often pops up in the comments section of the Toxic singer’s posts to offer positive vibes.

A day earlier, as Britney posted a number of shots in revealing outfits from 2021, Paris used the same emoji while also writing: “Beauty.”

It came shortly after Britney had uploaded a snap of the two having the time of their lives at Britney’s wedding to Sam Asghari. They were seen on the dance floor of the do with their signature blonde locks flowing as they danced together.

Britney captioned the image: “Me and @ParisHilton at my wedding … this is actually an extremely cool shot of us both!!! We look like pixie fairies doing a hair commercial.”

And Paris responded: “#Sliving sis. Such an epic night! Love you.”
