Paris Hilton was the original socialite and influencer before social media was even a thing. And while she used to be famous for her hyper-girly baby voice, recently it has come to light that the dumb blonde persona was fake and she was just playing a character all these years to protect herself.

In reality, Paris Hilton is a brilliant businesswoman who has steadily grown her empire through a wide range of entrepreneurial ventures and other media opportunities. She even said in her Netflix documentary This Is Paris that she was not going to stop until she becomes a billionaire.
But something changed recently. And with it, Paris has had a change of heart about becoming a billionaire at all costs. So what happened?
Paris Hilton And Husband Carter Reum Welcome Baby Boy Home
Via: DepositphotosIt’s no secret that Paris Hilton has had her fair share of bad relationships and breakups. So she was doubly excited when she finally found forever love with her childhood friend and now-husband Carter Reum.
The two have been very vocal about wanting to start a family and have admitted they want to have three to four kids overall.
In an interview with People magazine, Paris revealed that she and Carter began the IVF process to have a child right after they got married at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.
“We knew we wanted to start a family, and I was like, ‘This is perfect timing. Usually, I’m on a plane 250 days out of the year. Let’s just get all of the eggs stocked and ready.’”
They eventually decided to have the child via a surrogate. And on January 24th, 2023 they welcomed their baby boy home.
Not much is known about their child beyond the gender, but Paris once shared during an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show that she knows what she wants to name her children.
“The girl is going to be named London Marilyn Hilton Reum,” Paris said. “Marilyn, after my grandmother. And London because it’s my favorite city, and I think that Paris and London sound cute together.”
But she refused to reveal the boy’s name.
“I’m not going to say [that] yet because I’m scared someone is going to steal the name.”
She Is No Longer Interested In Being A Billionaire
Via: DepositphotosIn an interview with Marc Malkin on his Just for Variety podcast, Paris revealed that money isn’t her driving force anymore. She instead wants to focus on her relationship with her now-husband Carter.
The two began dating in December 2019 and he proposed to her on her 40th birthday in February 2021 during a private island getaway.
Paris revealed that the only reason why she wanted to be a billionaire was that she wasn’t happy in her personal life.
“Also just going through what I went through,” Paris told Malkin, “I always saw money as freedom and independence, and not being controlled. And I think that’s why I just had that as my focus in life.”
That changed after she fell in love with Carter Reum and the two got engaged.
“Now that I am so incredibly happy and in love in my personal life, I’m not really interested in billions anymore,” Paris said. “I’m more interested in babies.”
But she did clarify that just because she wasn’t so money-driven any longer did not mean she had lost her drive and business savvy.
“I’ve never worked harder in my life,” Paris said. “And I think also having a partner who is so business-minded is really such an inspiration to me. I’ve never been with someone who’s so brilliant and just really pushes me and makes me feel like I can be the best woman I can be.”
Finding Her Fairytale Husband And Family Took Paris A While
She once told Vogue that she was looking for a man who saw the real her, not the fake character she played for the public. Someone she could build a solid future with.
And she finally found that with Carter Reum. “I’m so proud of my love story with Carter,” Paris said. “And even more excited that it’s just beginning.”
Carter expressed similar sentiments after their engagement. “I have gotten the unique opportunity to get to know the real Paris on a daily basis,” he said. “Just the two of us during these past 15 months, and I couldn’t be more excited and lucky to have her as my future wife and partner.”
“She shines with her kindness, work ethic, authenticity, and her voice in making the world a better place, and she will do the same as a future mother and wife.”
The two tied the knot on November 11th, 2021 and Paris shared a picture on Instagram of herself dressed in her full bridal outfit with the caption, “My forever begins today.”
And now that they have brought their baby boy home, the couple couldn’t be more ecstatic.
“It’s always been my dream to be a mother, and I’m so happy that Carter and I found each other,” Paris told People. “We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy.”
