Paris Hilton has opened up like never before in her new memoir but the businesswoman claims that despite her success, she’s been v.i.o.l.a.t.e.d for many years
Paris Hilton has opened up about her life and being “v.i.o.l.a.t.e.d” from an early age
Paris Hilton has bravely opened up about her traumatic experiences and admits that she has become somewhat used to being “v.i.o.l.a.t.e.d”.
The businesswoman, 42, has seen her life play out across screens and the media since a young age due to being the granddaughter of hotel owner Conrad Hilton.
Paris had been known as “The Hilton Heiress” but recently confessed that this was a “misconception” while explaining that she’s “never taken anything” from her family since she was 17 years old.
But now, she has opened up about her younger years, admitting that it was far from plain sailing for her, which many would have assumed.

In a new interview, the mum-of-one said: “I’ve been v.i.o.l.a.t.e.d my whole life, my privacy has been v.i.o.l.a.t.e.d.”
People across the globe will know Hilton for her soft-toned voice and love of everything pink as well as being the original “It girl” in the early 2000s.
She, however, admits this was all an act she put on after people assumed she was far from the intelligent woman she is.
Paris went on to tell The Independent: “I was in so much pain that I created this Barbie doll fantasy life, it was a character I put on as a mask to protect myself.

“My family always wanted me to be very proper and conventional, but I didn’t want to be known as the Hilton Hotel granddaughter, I wanted to be known as someone else.”
In her new autobiography, Paris: The Memoir, she opened up about being drugged and raped aged 15 as well as being abused while attending a boarding school – a claim her former school have continued to deny.
Speaking recently on the BBC’s One Show, Paris said: “I think that what I went through it was a trauma response where I created this character, this Barbie doll fantasy life so I didn’t have to think about what I went through.

“Then I got The Simple Life, and then I had to continue playing that character season after season and then almost got stuck in it because I got so used to doing it.”
Paris claims she was groomed by a former teacher of hers and she had attempted to “block out” the terrifying memories and didn’t remember them until several years later.
The star explained that a teacher had attempted to make her believe she was a “mature woman” despite being a teenager.
