Back in 2013, Angelina Jolie underwent a double mastectomy when she found out that she had a gene that could possibly lead to breast cancer. This news came after her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, passed away from ovarian cancer in 2007. Jacqueline, who is Angelina’s godmother, talked about her health issues during an interview with The Telegraph in 2015. She mentioned that she was impressed with Angelina’s decision to have the operation and acknowledged that it must have been a difficult choice to make, especially since she has six children to care for. Jacqueline also expressed her affection for Angelina’s mother.
