Stacey Solomon overjoyed as she announces ‘new addition’ to growing family

Loose Women star Stacey Solomon has added two new members to her ever-growing family at Pickle Cottage.

Stacey Solomon opened up about the “most amazing” new additions to her growing family.

The Loose Women star, 34, lives in the cottage with her husband Joe Swash, 42, and their three children; Rex, five, Rose, two, and 15-month-old Belle, as well as Stacey’s two sons, Zachary, 16, and Leighton, 12, from previous relationships.

They also share the home with their dogs Peanut and Teddy. Tucked away in acres of greenery, the cottage is also where the couple tied the knot in 2022.

With plenty of land, Stacey has wasted now time in growing their family and has now added ducks to live with the Swash-Solomon brood. The X Factor star was given the ducklings by her friend and The Apprentice star Luisa Zissman in May.

Sharing an update online, Stacey revealed she has finally been able to name the ducks, who have settled into life at Pickle Cottage.

Alongside snaps of the two ducks on her bed, Stacey wrote: “Daisy & Delilah Solomon-Swash. So our ducks are gorgeous feather girlies & now finally we can name them.

“Honestly these little duckies have brought so much joy to our lives. They’re so loving and cuddly and just the most amazing addition to our family!

The Sort Your Life Out presenter added: “Can’t wait to complete pickle cottage pond & maybe adopt some more feathered friends. Things are starting to get a little more even around pickle cottage.”

Stacey concluded: “6 boys 5 girls now counting all dogs, ducks and humans.” It comes after Stacey lifted the lid on why she no longer shares a bed with Joe.

During a recent episode of Celebrity Gogglebox, Joe turned to his wife and said: “We used to have pillow talk, didn’t we?” To which Stacey replied: “We used to sleep in bed together, do you remember that?”

The mum-of-five revealed expanding their brood is what caused their sleeping arrangements to change. “Before we had three kids in four years,” she laughed.

Impersonating Stacey, Joe said: “I’ll go in Rex’s bed with the baby, alright,” while she added: “That’s what happens, innit, babe.”

Stacey and Joe first met on the set of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2010, where she was crowned queen of the jungle.
