It’s not often that Tom Brady meets someone who is bigger than him by an entire foot but such was the case when he met sensational 7’4″ San Antonio Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama.
The retired NFL great recently brought 16-year-old son John “Jack” Edward Thomas to meet San Antonio Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama. The 19-year-old French rising star in the NBA was the league’s No. 1 draft pick.
In a photo of the three shared on Brady’s Instagram, Wemby towers over the 6’4″ quarterback by a full foot.
Not only did he share the picture but he also decided to destroy Julian Edelman in his caption.
“PS: @Edelman11 This is how you felt all those years???” Brady wrote on Instagram, tagging his former receiver’s page.

Edelman was generously listed at 5’10” throughout his NFL career.
Edelman used a Michael Scott GIF in the comments to answer his former quarterback.

One thing that stands out about every picture Wembanyama is in is how much he towers over everyone.
Wembanyama is making a strong impression so far in the NBA as his 38 points in a 132-121 win over the Phoenix Suns on Nov. 2 were tied for the third-most by a player in Spurs history.
The next step in Wembanyama’s young career will be showing off his skills in front of a New York crowd. The Spurs will play the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday.
