Bronny James has produced jaw dropping plays for USCAP
Bronny James may have started his freshman season at USC a little late, but he appears to be making up for lost time.
LeBron James‘ oldest son showed flashes of his father’s athleticism with a highlight dunk that may have been the best of his short college career so far. He had to duck his head under the rim on the alley oop from Trojans star guard Isaiah Collier.
Bronny’s continued recovery from cardiac arrest
Bronny’s appearances for USC are slowly ramping up as he finds his groove again, following a medical emergency this summer that casted doubt over his career and caused him to miss the start of the college season.
USC coach Andy Enfield has spoken about James’ understandable lack of conditioning, explaining that he gets winded quickly and sometimes asks for breaks. He has played in just six contests for the Spartans, all off the bench.

Still, the 19-year-old has shown ability to make standout plays while on a minutes restriction, as his viral slam dunk emphasized. He scored a season-high 15 points in 20 minutes against Oregon State, before his 10 point, 2 rebound, 3 assist performance in 18 minutes against Cal.
“Watched that game and they would’ve won by a lot more if he got more burn,” said a popular comment on TikTok of his showing versus Cal.
“everyone judging him like he not a freshman entering college,” said another, encouraged by his performances.
Eager fans can’t rush James’ recovery, but he is proving that his combination of scoring touch, defensive effort and a knack for highlight plays gives him a way to impact every game no matter how much the young star plays.
