Happy birthday, Caitlin Clark!

The Iowa Hawkeyes star turned 22 years old on Monday. The best player in college basketball is having an insane season, averaging more than 30 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists per game.

On Monday, Clark’s longtime boyfriend, former Iowa Hawkeyes basketball player Connor McCaffery, wished her a happy birthday.

“Happy Birthday 22 🤞🏼🤍 Wish I was there to celebrate with you – you deserve the best day ❤️ Golden Bday / T Swift year will be the best yet. With all that you’ve already accomplished, there is so much more in store for you and your special self. I admire you in every way and I love you 🖤” he wrote.

Caitlin had a funny reply.

“My fav person 🖤🫶🏻 I love you con! ☺️,” she wrote, adding: “acting like u a T swift fan tho is crazy , but I will let this slide hehe🤍”

It’s been an eventful couple of days for Clark.

On Sunday, her Iowa Hawkeyes were upset on the road by Ohio State, leading to the Buckeyes fans storming the court. One Ohio State fan collided with Clark during the court storm, appearing to cause an injury.

Thankfully, Clark emerged from it in OK shape.

“I was just trying to exit the court as quickly as possible, so I started running and I was absolutely just hammered by somebody trying to run onto the court,” Clark said following the overtime loss.

“Basically blindsided and, you know, kind of scary, could have caused a pretty serious injury to me and knocked the wind out of me. But luckily my teammates kind of picked me up and got me off the court. Their AD already came and apologized to me, so I really appreciate that.”

Clark and the Hawkeyes will return to the floor on Saturday against Nebraska.
