Double Dozen: Caitlin Clark sets record with 24 B1G Player of the Week awards
By the time it is all said and done, it may be easier to ask what records Caitlin Clark actually didn’t break. The Iowa Hawkeyes’ superstar is on a warpath of taking down record after record this year and looking to make many of them untouchable.
With her outstanding week that featured a game-winning buzzer beater three pointer to take down the Michigan State Spartans followed up by a triple-double on the road at Rutgers, Caitlin Clark has officially set the record for most Big Ten Player of the Week Awards with 24.

Through 16 games, Caitlin Clark has the Hawkeyes out to a 16-1 record and a No. 3 ranking in the AP Top 25. She is averaging 31.3 points per game while shooting 48.5% from the field and 39.9% from three.
Clark doesn’t just score, though. As we have become accustomed to, she is an all-around star as she is averaging 7.1 rebounds and 7.6 assists per game. She is almost a walking triple-double every single time she steps on the court.
The Iowa Hawkeyes and Cailtin Clark will continue play when they take on the Purdue Boilermakers on the road on Wednesday, Jan. 10 with a home date against the Indiana Hoosiers staring them down on Saturday, Jan. 13.
