The college basketball duo do not have much in common

Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark are two of the biggest names in American college basketball with huge followings on social media, albeit with very different lives to each other.

Reese has been tipped for a bright future in the WNBA when she graduates from Louisiana State University (LSU), having starred for the LSU Tigers and was ranked second in her class by ESPN.

The self-proclaimed Bayou Barbie has worked to build her image away from the court, with 2.6 million followers on Instagram and several sponsorship deals.

Reese was also featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated and makes a concerted effort to keep up her appearance with a unique hairstyle, striking eyelashes and fancy nails.

The 21-year-old is currently dating fellow basketball player Cam’Ron Fletcher and the couple have inspired fans with their adorable romance, making the long-distance relationship work despite the fact he goes to Florida State University.

As well as making a fortune in her life away from basketball, she is delivering for the Tigers after returning from a prolonged absence and they had enjoyed a 16-game winning streak before a surprise 67-62 loss to Auburn.

Caitlin Clark, a different character

Iowa Hawkeyes guard Clark doesn’t have much in common with Reese, aside from their passion for basketball.

She tends to keep herself out of the limelight when she isn’t playing for the Hawkeyes, although she has amassed 859,000 followers on Instagram too.

Unlike Reese, she doesn’t choose to dress up glamorously and isn’t often seen wearing heels. Her social media profiles feature images of her playing basketball, proving she is focused on her career as an athlete rather than becoming a celebrity.

Both women are role models in their own right, however, and can be proud of how they have performed since joining their respective colleges.
