Despite Stephen Curry’s outstanding performance on Saturday, a 46-point effort, including a season-high nine made triples, he couldn’t secure a home victory for the Golden State Warriors against LeBron James and the LA Lakers.
Curry’s clutch 3-pointer with 4.7 seconds remaining in the second overtime momentarily gave the Warriors a 144-143 lead, but James’ composed execution at the free-throw line sealed a 145-144 road win for the Lakers.

Despite holding a 99-91 advantage entering the fourth quarter, the Warriors saw their lead diminish as the Lakers mounted a comeback.
