A set of Air Jordan sneakers are also expected to reach $10 million at the auction house this month
EVERYTHING Michael Jordan touches turns into gold – and that includes his former cars.
A 1991 BMW 850i bought by the NBA legend 33 years ago has sold for a whopping $108,723 at auction.

Jordan bought the sleek beamer just two months before winning his first NBA Championship ring with the Chicago Bulls.
The 300-horsepower whip has become an icon of the early 1990s and a firm favorite of car collectors.
Boasting a 4.0-liter V8 engine, it could reach an eye-watering top speed of 159 mph.
Jordan’s BMW was mostly stock but was kitted out with AC Schnitzer wheels and a Magnaflow exhaust, according to Forbes.
It was sold to an unnamed buyer on Bring A Trailor with the legal documents framed and signed by MJ himself.
Despite being on the road for over three decades, the E31 has less than 30,000 miles on the cock.
The car is pictured outside Jordan’s epic Chicago mansion, with the license plate reading M AIR J.
Jordan purchased the wheels on the same day he dropped 28 points on the New York Knicks in the opening game of the 1991 playoffs, per Rally.
Just two months later, the Bulls legend would win the first of his six titles with the Chicago organization.
Fans were quick to comment on Jordan’s wheels going for six figures, with one even joking on X, “$108k and AC doesn’t work? Lol.”
Another added, “Seems cheap when a pair of game worn shoes make as much as they do. He literally drove this thing.”
And a third wrote, “License plate is enough evidence for me.”
Earlier this month it was revealed a pair of Air Jordan sneakers dubbed the ‘Mona Lisa of sports memorabilia’ would be hitting auction.
The kicks are known as The Dynasty Collection and are all signed by Jordan following his championship wins.
