Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift ‘RUINED’ Valentine’s Day Plans: Couple NOT Celebrating the Special Day?

Even though Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have only been dating for a few months, there have been rumors in recent weeks that they may be getting engaged. But the rumors were recently dashed — as well as speculations that they will be having the sweetest Valentine’s Day ever.

According to sources who spoke with TMZ, the situation might be entirely different and the new pair is going through a “very challenging” phase in their relationship.

The couple is presently in their “honeymoon phase,” which means they haven’t had to deal with any of the more difficult aspects of a long-term relationship, according to the tabloid, which also added that “some folks on the inside of this don’t think it’ll go the distance.” But this phase is likely to end very soon…maybe even before the supposedly special day.

The difficult aspect is Swift’s next international tour, the Eras Tour, which kicks off on February 7 in Tokyo. Even though Kelce is capable of traveling, he won’t have the time until the NFL season is finished, so their relationship will be long-distance at that point.

This means there’s a possibility that they won’t even have Valentine’s day plans.

February is a particularly busy month because Kelce’s team, the Kansas City Chiefs, are attempting to win the Super Bowl while she is abroad. If the Chiefs win, then February 11 is when the Super Bowl is supposed to take place. Swift has to arrive in Australia in time for her performance on February 16 and will be in Tokyo through at least February 10.

Still, an insider said that if the two really want to, they can certainly go against all these odds – they have the means and the money, and of course, the love for each other to do so. They just need to find the time, is all.

The insider claimed, “They both intend to spend Valentine’s Day together; they just don’t know if it will be in America or abroad.”

“She plans to come back for the Super Bowl for him if he is in the game, but some things have to fall into place, and if one of those pieces is Kansas City making the Super Bowl, though it would be extremely tiring.”

“They have tentative plans on what they will actually be doing,” the insider said, “but once Kansas City is in the Super Bowl or not, everything will work itself out.” However, they are quite certain that they will spend Valentine’s Day together.
